Celine and Elton will be sharing the stage, as her Celine concert series began in March 2011 and will continue for about three years. The theater, which seats more than 4,000 people, has also played host to a concert series by Cher and two by Celine Dion. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is one of the best venues in Las Vegas for a great headliner like Sir Elton John. The current Elton John show schedule is still being finalized, but The Million Dollar Piano has its first sixteen shows scheduled for September and October of 2011, with this cluster of performances intended to kick off the concert series in style. That show, titled The Red Piano, was intended to include only 75 shows and run for three years, but it was so successful and Elton John tickets were in such high demand that it ultimately ran for 241 performances over the course of half a decade. The previous string of Caesars Palace concerts ended in 2009, when the singer wrapped up a five-year residency. The Million Dollar Piano brings back the style of Elton John Las Vegas engagements that were so popular during his last series of shows.
